More bleach cards

Hiya girls ,

On the Yahoo group Kickostampers , this month the challenge is to make cards on which you use bleach, in one or another way ....

The used stamps are from PSX, Non Sequitor , Stampinback and I break for stamps ..

Forever Stamps

Hiya Girls

On Brigitta's blog there is a challenge to creat something with her stamps .... Because I really love Brigitta's stamps, I had to make a card ..

For this card , the background , I added first a layer from Cats eyes in different colors in DTP technique ..... the second layer is dye inks brayered over de pigment ink, than I stamped the tribalmotive with bleach ...... and than the lizzard with StazOn ..

The Indian and feathers were stamped separatedly and added on the background ..

All stamps are from Brigitta !!

Socks again :-)

Hiya girls ,

Finally I finished my Tex -Mex socks !!! Some people asked me how many pairs of socks I have kniited now .. well , only 13 pairs ..... I have given away 2 pairs , so that makes 11 pairs for me ..... and in comparation with some sock knitters on my blogrol , that's nothing..... LOL

If you want to see a real sock knitter , go and cheque out Angeli, she has a great blog !!

So...... what kinda socks shall I start now ?? :-))

ATC swap may

Jeez, time really flies !!! This month on the Yahoogroup StampingFantasy , my swap partner for the month may was Ali ... we agreed a 2/2 swap , ATC's with some inchies on it .. This was the forst time i did something like that, but I love the idea ..

This are the ATC's I send to Ali, I hope she likes them ...

And these ATC's I got from Ali, I just love them , they are wonderful and the colors are so delicate !!

This card I made with an inchie punch .... I lifted the sketch more or less from the Art Journey Gallery .

The background is made in the wax technique with Vivid dye inks and all stamps are from Art Journey ..

Socksss ..

Hiya girls ,

Yes , with the help of my 2 lil friends I managed to finish anoter pair of socks .. just a basic sok in 3k-1p rib. Maybe you wonder why I make so many ribbes socks ... wel , my ankles and legs a a bit skinny and ribbed socks just fit me the best ... with ribbed socks I don't need to pull them up every time when walking :-)

For this socks I used dpn's european size 2.5 , and the yarn is Meilenweit Inca ..

And ofcourse I had to start a new pair .... I some webshop they called this color Tex Mex , and I love that name , so this are gonna be my Tex Mex socks :-)

ATC swap april

First of all I wanna thank you all for your sweet comments about my doggies !!! Nope, I didn't knit them by myself .. lol..

Yes, i knitted that sweater about 20 years ago ( OMG I am gettin old !!!) and it's still wearable..

Wendy , you are so right !! The dogs really don't like when I sit down to knit, they want me to play with them !!:-)

For the april ATC swap on the Stampingfantasy Yahoo group, my partner was Gerda V , we didn't have any theme , the swap was completely free, only non cute .... on the top pic you can see the ATC's I send to her ..... hope she likes them !

And this are the ATC's Gerda send to me ..... they are awesome , don't you think so ? I do love them !!

Playing with colors

Hiya girls ,

If it is with inks or with yarns , I allways love to play with colors ... when I make ATC's , usually I make 2 or 3 with the same image but with different colors ... I love to see the difference a color can do with an image .

Those ATC's are colored with liquid watercolor on semi glossy paper , I heat embossed all sides with gold ...

This wonderful stamp is from Artistic Outpost .....

Socks :-)

Hiya girls ,

Yep, another pair of socks is finished !!! Usually I don't care about the colors , as long as you can see the socks are from the same yarn, it's okey to me .... but with this Kaffe Fasset yarn I wanted to knit 2 socks who are the same .. Because I didn't want to disturb the colorpattern I made an afterthoughtheel in those socks ..

So... what color I shall put on my needles now ?? :-)

Perfect resist

On the Dutch Yahoogroup Kicostampers , the challenge for this month is to make something with the Perfect Resist technique ... I made 3 cards , I used the same stamp ( Stampers Anonymous ) for the resist background on all of the 3 cards and the other stamps I used are from Paperbag Studios and Stampinback ... the coloring I did with the brayer ...

Playing with new stamps

It was allready very hot in my stampingcave , so i think in summer it will be boiling there , but never mind .... for me it is better than suffering cold :-)

This card I made on a Spin & Splash background, made with alcoholinks from Ranger and the stamps are from Stampinback and I brake ....

So, now I am going back to the heath there to finish some ATC's :-)

Need your advice !!!

Recently I picked up this UFO ... it is gonna be a folk sweater from all kind of cotton leftovers ... My intention was to make some simple folk roses in swiss darning on the black stripes , in bright colors ... but now I am not so sure anymore if this is gonna look good ...

So shall I add roses on the black stripes or not ?? Please , help me or it will be an UFO forever :-)

Blue socks

Yes, I started something new , something blue , and it are socks ... LOL ... I am doing these in a simple 3k-1p rib , coz those ribbed socks really fit nice (usually) :-)
